Before each election, we open a policy submission window and invite policy experts, researchers and advocacy organisations to put forward policy ideas on the issues we're covering.
Build a Ballot is a starting point, not the final word. Once someone's used the tool, we point them toward resources for deeper research. If your organisation publishes a scorecard, guide or other voting resource, we'd love to include it.
Every policy is reviewed by subject matter experts before it goes into the tool, so we know we're covered the evidence, arguments and trade-offs. We're building a panel of reviewers we can call on ahead of each election.
