When you use or interact with the Build a Ballot tool, you accept these Terms. By submitting your responses through the Build a Ballot tool, you consent to the collection and use of your information (including political preferences) as described in the Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Build a Ballot tool. If you are under 16, you may only use the Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.

The Build a Ballot tool generates “match levels” and suggested arrangements of preferences based on the answers you provide to questions about your policy preferences. These outputs are for informational purposes only and are not official electoral advice. You are solely responsible for how you choose to vote.
We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, including on candidate positions and policy summaries. However, we cannot guarantee that all content is complete, accurate, or current. Your use of the Build a Ballot tool is at your own risk.
By using the Build a Ballot tool, you acknowledge and consent to Project Planet Inc collecting, analysing and sharing de-identified and aggregated data generated through your use of the Build a Ballot tool for research, public interest, civic engagement, and educational purposes.
This may include sharing de-identified datasets with research institutions, universities, or other trusted partners for the purpose of conducting research, analysis, reporting or improving civic participation tools. No data, information or insights (beyond what is published publicly) will be shared with political parties, candidates or associated campaign groups.
We will take reasonable steps to ensure that any data shared in this way does not identify you personally.
The Build a Ballot tool may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites and encourage you to review their terms and privacy policies.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss, damage, cost or expense arising from your use of the Build a Ballot tool (including indirect or consequential loss). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be lawfully excluded under Australian law.
We may modify, update or discontinue features of the Build a Ballot tool at any time. We may also amend these Terms. Continued use of the Build a Ballot tool after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
